Project 52
Well, now that the holidays are finished I might be able to get back onto a normal blogging schedule, but I’m in the middle of a move so don’t count on it.
The letter C is for cookie... and this week, Canada. Last night I had a long conversation with some friends about what the difference between provinces and states was. Wikipedia was extremely unhelpful and we understand it less well now. We all agreed we would have to ask our varios Canadian friends to explain it. I have not done that yet and fear that I will spend the rest of my life not understanding what the difference between a province and a state.
Oddly enough, I was also in Canada this week. I celebrated the new year with my parents in Victoria. That’s in Canada, by the way. I’m all about new year adventures. New Year new you is, in my opinion, a load of nonsense, but there is something to be said about doing something new for new year. So, this year I went to Victoria and wandered around the Butchart Gardens with my family.
Here’s the thing. Experiencing new things is how we grow and learn new things. What better way to actually become a “new you” at the beginning of the year than by growing and gaining experiences? Just something to consider.
