Poetry Challenge Week 17
A tear drop
clings to my eyelash,
ringing the world in a halo
of blurred light.
Cool and soft
against my cheek.
It waits.
Testing the boundaries of gravity.
(Okay, once again this one has nothing to do with the prompt but I got splashed in the face yesterday and was intrigued by the fact that one water droplet clung to my eyelash for ten minutes and wouldn't go away no matter how much I blinked. I thought it was a cool image and I hoped you would like it too.)
