Wednesdays are writing challenge days so here's this weeks poem Autumn at Sea Level as written in line at Starbucks 10 minutes ago.
Mermaids do not drink Pumpkin Spice Lattes
when the reef burns
orange and red,
shedding old life
as the days grow short
and cold.
